I've know the artist above since my first day of college(the Great Grambling State). He like I shared a love of real Hip-Hop, which made us and the members of the Rubik's Cube different from the other students at Gram. And along with his love of rap Keith has a gift in spoken word. And his EP shows his skills in providing thoughtful, mind racking rhymes that can only be compared to great emcees in the game. Now that might seem like a outlandish statement to people who havent heard him but to those of us to have been honored to have heard the man spit, we know it is true. Keith has a drive and ability that seems to often absent in modern hip-hop. He isnt talking about getting hoes or the bullshit that binds hip-hop into a zomie like state. He talks about struggle and life, the good and the bad, and all the real things in life from doubt to faith. The EP is rightly titled, Phenomenal Quotes. The EP leaves alot to think about. And it makes me want to do something with substance in my life. Although, it may seem as if I'm hyping my homie up, I actually mean this. And I wanna see real poetry to be lifted up in Hip-Hop.
