Who I'm Feeling Right Now: TV on The Radio

Alright, I know TV on the Radio has been out for a minute but in the last month I have really got into them. But in a time of unoriginal music they shine out as a hope that music may not be dead...completely. Dear Science their most recent cd is a gem hidden last year(it been the year of Tha Carter III and all). For true Alt-Rock fans, TOTR is a flashback of the origins of the genre with hints of David Bowie and a little New Wave,Punk, and Funk. My favorite song on the album is "Crying" which is a weird sounding but catchy. Your first listen will have you humming it for hours and days after hearing it. Another attractive thing about the band as you can see above is their mixed make-up consisting of black people and a white person(Tunde Adebimpe, the lead singer is from Africa). This and the great music they produce seems to indicate that music transcends ethnic barriers and cultural stereotypes. Another reason I wrote this post is I thought after all you bandwagon MJ fans attention spans end you will be open to different music. So if you love music get TOTR's Dear Science....
